Nearly zero energy buildings towards 2020

On 19 September we will participate in the Bari stage of "Almost zero energy buildings towards 2020"!

The objectives of Net / Near Zero Energy Buiding towards which the European Community is pushing us concern not only new buildings but also and above all the existing private and public building stock. In fact, most of the buildings in our country date back to an era in which the legislation on limiting energy consumption was not applied. Starting from January 1, 2014, the obligation to energetically redevelop 3% of the public assets was triggered. Particular attention must then be paid to the construction criteria.

In fact, the limits of a NZEB (Near Zero Energy Building) for the Mediterranean area have not yet been defined, a context characterized by climatic conditions in which summer air conditioning problems are predominant as well as aspects relating to the cost ratio. / benefits of the interventions.

These are the main issues that will be addressed in the NEAR ZERO ENERGY BUILDINGS roadshow - TOWARDS 2020, born from the collaboration between Maggioli, a leading publisher in the construction sector, and ANDIL (National Association of Brick Manufacturers).

The 6-stage tour, whose participation is free, will be aimed at companies, public bodies and all professionals working in the construction sector (procedures are underway to recognize participants' Professional Training Credits).

The scientific organization of the tour is entrusted to university professors and members of ANCE, ENEA, CECODHAS and of the UNI and CTI Commissions who have been involved for years in the production of standards on these issues within national and international regulatory committees (CTI, UNI and CEN ).
Each stage will see numerous experts alternate on stage and will offer a complete overview of the issues relating to NZEB in the Mediterranean area. The morning will be dedicated to the regulatory aspects, while in the afternoon interventions the design issues relating to the new and the recovery of the existing will be addressed.
